E-Mail Attachment Sizes

E-mail If you are going to e-mail a photo or other attachment to someone, a good rule of thumb is that all attachments on a single email should have a combined size that does not exceed 500kb-750kb (half to three-quarters of a megabyte). If you want to send more, put the additional attachment(s) in a separate e-mail.

In general, the resolution (dimensions) of a photo should be no greater than 640x480 for e-mail.

If you have additional questions or need technical assistance, please feel free to contact Karen Woys.
